ITPEnergised is proud to be supporting the emerging and fast developing space industry in the UK.
The 2020s will see a massive step change in space sector activities, with commercial rocket launches from British soil a routine occurence well before the end of the decade. The UK intends to become an international hub for commercial spaceflight and related technologies, as set out in the 2018 National Space Policy and the 2021 National Space Strategy. The UK Government is committed to building one of the most innovative and attractive space economies in the world, supporting the growth of a robust and competitive commercial space sector. The value of the UK Space Sector is projected to grow to £40 billion by 2030, representing approximately 10% of the global market.
We’re well on the way to lift off too, with the design and consenting for multiple spaceports in place and the Regulator, the Civil Aviation Authority, has already begun to determine spaceport and launch vehicle licence applications from several organisations this year.
ITPEnergised’s specialist space industry services are offered from a position of direct, recent and relevant experience with clients including SaxaVord UK Space Port, Skyrora Ltd and ABL Space Systems.
Through our multiple expert teams and trusted partner organisations, we provide support tailored to the unique requirements of each client, from help with individual specialist surveys to complete management of required environmental, planning and licensing processes.
Our ethos is to identify and work with clients where we can add most value, rather than imposing predefined systems and processes – a creative and agile approach is essential to manage the emerging challenges of a whole new industry.
Our services to the industry include:
- Environmental Impact Assessments for Planning Applications
- Assessment of Environmental Effects for Spaceport Operator Licence Applications
- Assessment of Environmental Effects for Launch Operator Licence Applications
- Specialist assessments including noise monitoring, air quality modelling, marine and transboundary impact assessment, greenhouse gas assessment and climate change resilience
